The PDMP TTAC team hosts and facilitates monthly conference calls with the RxCheck Governance Board. As mentioned in Deliverable 5, PDMP TTAC no longer provides support to the PMIX Standards Organization or its subcommittees. During this reporting period, the PDMP TTAC team hosted and facilitated 46 calls with the RxCheck Governance Board, work groups, and groups interested in connecting to the RxCheck Hub.

The second of the biannual RxCheck Governance Board meetings was held in Kansas City, MO (in-person and virtual) on September 24-25, 2024. Twenty-nine of the 37 member PDMPs were represented. The agenda topics at the meeting included:

At the end of 2023, the PMIX Executive Committee voted to seek funding and support from an alternate source. The National Association of States with Controlled Substances Authorities (NASCSA) was selected by the PMIX Executive Committee to provide support effective January 1, 2024. Per our BJA Policy Advisor, this deliverable is no longer applicable for PDMP TTAC.

PDMP TTAC staff members completed the compilations for the third quarter of the 2024 proposed and enacted legislation and regulations and began researching information for the fourth quarter. The “Compilation of PDMP Statutes and Regulations by Topic” and “Proposed and Enacted PDMP Legislation and Regulation Quarterly Report” visualizations on the PDMP TTAC website were updated to reflect those updates.

The PDMP TTAC team consistently delivers technical assistance to PDMP administrators, staff, and other stakeholders, responding to information requests and facilitating peer-to-peer communication. These efforts help identify potential resources and technical assistance needs as PDMPs evolve, enabling the PDMP TTAC team to proactively develop and implement the most efficient and effective delivery methods.

The Phoenix Police Department seeks assistance with reviewing and improving its School Safety Officer (SSO) program. The department aims to enhance relationships with school staff, clearly define roles and responsibilities, and strengthen overall relationships with schools.
