Stewart Bruce of Washington College will be engaged to apply subject matter expertise and serve as an active participant during the Violence Reduction Network meeting with Camden County Police Department. During the one-day meeting, Mr. Bruce discussed how the sharing of enterprise level offender data benefits the entire criminal justice community; show example data analysis products; demonstrate Maryland Offender Management System with IAP.

Dane County, Wisconsin is home to the world cass University of Wisconsin-Madison, home of the state capitol and commonly voted on our nation's best of's lists. Unfortunately, in the criminal justice system we are rank as United States most disparite county between African-American and white populations. Dane county is piloting a new Community Restorative Court aimed at the 17-25 year old population. r

The Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office is requesting funding through the National Training and Technical Assistance Program for our community consortium concerned with heroin abuse and addiction. Since 2012 Jefferson County has seen over 150 heroin related deaths, which has resulted in a public health crisis for our community.

The IJIS Institute Knowledge Center provides clear and comprehensive support of NIEM data standards to the information sharing community.

The NISS Help Desk shares their experience and expertise and is able to resolve ticketed items in a timely fashion with quality feedback that addresses the user's request.

Resolved issues are published on the Knowledge Center website so that all users may leverage the information. Issues range from basic feasibility research to detailed Information Exchange Package Documentation (IEPD) efforts.

The New Jersey Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) and the Essex County Sheriff's Office (ECSO) plan to implement a pilot solution to streamline the current warrant data process. The pilot solution will consist of the implementation of a two-way interface to enable the electronic transfer of data and provide for automatic system updates of warrant information between the identified state systems and the Warrant Module of the ECSO’s Records Management System (RMS). The goal is to have this pilot program implemented in the remaining twenty (20) counties in the state.

This full day training session will concentrate on advanced NIEM Technical Concepts. A primary point of focus will be the changes from NIEM 2.1 to NIEM 3.0, including modifications to augmentation, reference elements, and content-bearing elements. The training will also provide a review of NIEM conformance and NIEM technical architecture. The existing NIEM tool set will be reviewed and demonstrations provided.
