Join CNA for their upcoming webinar “Part I: The Role of Police Body-Worn Cameras in Recent Public Protests: Benefits, Challenges, and Solutions” on July 23, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. ET. Arizona State University (ASU) recently conducted a survey asking body-worn cameras (BWCs) policy and implementation program sites about their experiences policing the recent protests, value that BWCs added, challenges agencies experienced, and solutions agencies implemented to tackle these challenges.

This virtual meeting was designed to explore promising practices in co-responder and multi-layered approaches for police response to people with behavioral health issues and developmental disabilities. Attendees consisted of a multi-disciplinary group of professionals with subject matter expertise regarding police response to these groups.

Justin Noland and Corrine Eddy will be the primary travelers representing MedicAlert. Either person will travel from the Turlock, CA headquarters to conduct information gathering and general awareness at the national level through conferences that focus new programs and educational efforts for local and state-level law enforcement representatives.
