CSG Justice Center staff had a follow-up call on 11/1/24 with key DPSCS staff including the Assistant Secretary of Programs, Treatment, and Programs, the Reentry and Transition Services Director, and the Director of the Community Investment Initiative to discuss Maryland's proposed goals and next steps to work toward a R2030 launch.

Over the past six (6) months, the IACP met with core staff from the Cumberland County team a total of three (3) times to provide customized TA. Site updates included: the team recieved accolades at a national conference, with a presentation on the ARRIVE program and an award for the CIT program of the year. The mental health working group reported on embedded workers' interactions and referrals, highlighting top needs like housing and mental health services. The Blue Envelope project is being launched, and the Youth TIP program is being developed to address increasing violence.
