Feb. 12: CSG Justice Center staff met with Ben Gilmore (Arkansas State Senator and Task Force Chair); Tawnie Rowell (Executive Director of the Arkansas Sentencing Commission and facilitator of the Task Force); and Lindsay Wallace (Task Force Member and Secretary of Corrections) to provide updates on the status of the project’s data requests and receive direction on a regional approach to site visits. Jan. 22: Meeting with Ben Gilmore (Arkansas State Senator and Task Force Chair), Jimmy Gazaway (Arkansas State Representative and Task Force Member), Tawnie Rowell (Executive Director of the Arkansas Sentencing Commission and facilitator of the Task Force), and Dr. Tabrina Bratton (Quality Improvement and Program Evaluation Administrator for the Department of Corrections) to provide updates on the status the project’s data requests and receive direction on reaching out to the Department of Corrections given the current climate.
