Representative Usher steered CSG Justice Center staff to the Criminal Justice Oversight Committee (CJOC) which drives the work of the Montana Board of Crime Control (MBCC) and the data warehouse project. 12/4 - Recruitment meeting with Greg Schneider (Research, Analytics, and Planning Bureau Chief) Greg Schneider and Janice Fries (Statistical Analysis Director) of the Montana Department of Corrections, and Natalia Bowser (Executive Director) of the Montana Board of Crime Control (3 participants, representing 2 agencies).

12/4 - Meeting with Nanette Gilbertson, Executive Director of the County Attorneys Association and the Sheriff's and Peace Officers Association. CSG Justice Center staff discussed how Justice Counts may be able to support 53 of 56 counties in Montana. (1 person, representing 2 agencies).

12/4 In-Person Meeting with Ohio County Day Reporting Center: CSG Justice Center Staff met with Fred McDonald (Director) to share more about the WV project and learn about DRC operations and services. (1 participants, 1 agency)

12/4 - Recruitment meeting with Chief Brett Petty (Legislative Chair of the Montana Association of Chiefs of Police and on the Executive Committee) and Assistant Chief Cory 'Scott' Bailey of the Helena Police Department to introduce the project. (2 participants, representing 1 agency).

12/5 - Recruitment meeting with Eric Bryson (Executive Director) of the Montana Association of Counties and Janice Fries (Director) of the Montana Statistical Analysis Center. CSG Justice Center staff discussed possible partnership between Justice Counts and Montana Board of Crime Control. (2 participants, representing 2 agencies).

12/5 - Recruitment meeting with Ann Miller (Justice Center Advisory Board member and Managing Attorney), Lynsey Gaudioso (Staff Attorney), Katie Jones (Staff Attorney), and Susette Billedeaux (Director of Holistic Services) of the Tribal Defenders Office of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes (CSKT). Maylinn Smith (Managing Attorney) and Joshua Cahacon (Lead Case Manager) of the Tribal Prosecutors Office of the CSKT attended as well. (6 participants, representing 2 CSKT agencies).

12/10 - Recruitment meeting with Jon R. Courtney, Deputy Director of the New Mexico Legislative Finance Committee. CSG Justice Center staff discussed the possibility of presenting Justice Counts at their next legislative session in 2025. (1 participant, representing 1 agency).

12/10 - Recruitment meeting with Special Counsel Marco Serna of the Administration of District Attorneys to introduce the project. (1 participant, representing 1 agency).
