States face numerous and pressing criminal justice challenges that directly impact communities and agencies across multiple levels of government. State leaders—governors, legislators, and agency officials—play a critical role in ensuring public safety by setting priorities, identifying policies and programs to achieve them, and allocating finite resources that impact every area of the justice system.
RAPIDS Project Partners work with site locations to install technologies, train on use, and to offer ongoing technical assistance.
NSA RAPIDS Project Partners meet twice a month to discuss project's progress and navigate any ongoing issues / technical assistance requests regarding technology implementation and plan for upcoming project-related events.
Criminal Intelligence Coordinating Council Virtual Meeting - Held as one of three annual meetings. The Criminal Intelligence Coordinating Council (CICC), a group under the Global Justice Information Sharing Initiative (Global), supports the development and promotion of resources for local, state, tribal, and territorial law enforcement and homeland security agencies in their efforts to gather and share criminal intelligence to better serve and protect communities nationwide.
DC CJCC was looking for programmatic examples of potential gun violence prevention data systems specific to JJ populations. We did some research to find programs that met their needs and connected them with David Mauroff in San Francisco to learn more about a program in SFO.
Quarterly Global Advisory Meeting: Held as one of four annual GAC meetings. This virtual meeting focused on information sharing strategies within the criminal justice communities and the development of new policies, strategies, and technology implementation related to justice reform and change.
