In July of 2015 Center staff conducted email introductions between Micaelee Horn, Healing to Wellness Court Coordinator for the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe, and Krystal Moreno, Tribal Court Administrator for the Shingle Springs Tribe and Nicole Homer of the Ho Chunk Nation . The purpose of the introductions was to connect the tribes to discuss family treatment courts that work in conjunction with family courts.

This meeting, hosted by the NFCA was held via teleconference to identify best practices for dealing with social media based threats to law enforcement and identifying working group members to lead the development of a unified approach to sharing such information between fusion centers.

The existing draft of the guidebook was updated for consistency to include the new logo and formatting of the TAJI website. The draft was also updated to include an additional 12 pages of content focusing on descriptions of tribal programs. The draft has been reviewed and edited by three Center staff members .

Center staff conducted planning calls with the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Reintegration Program and the Oneida Domestic Violence Men’s Reeducation Program. Staff the drafted 2 concept papers for videos featuring these programs and created a production timeline.

Center staff contacted 17 tribes (33 total individuals) to generate additional information about programs to be profiled on the TAJI website. 9 profiles were finalized and posted to the TAJI website. An additional 12 profiles were approved by the appropriate tribes and are undergoing final edits.
