City planning would like to be trained on CPTED practices. WPD would also like to be trained in CPTED as we migrate to a community poling form of service delivery.
Wilmington North Carolina in certain areas suffers from urban blight and areas where the physical infrastructure supports the proliferation of crime. It is an old city with little inner city changes to streets capes and associated services. City planners would like to be trained in CPTED to first inform their planning practices but also to begin the adoption of CPTED land code changes.
