The Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI) Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) team hosted a webinar titled, Utilizing CODIS for Unsubmitted Sexual Assault Kits, on Tuesday, February 21st, 2017 from 1:00pm-3:00pm EST. This webinar was presented by Amy Jeanguenat of Mindgen, LLC. During the webinar participants learned: - How data and communication flows between CODIS levels - Eligibility requirements for sample input - 'HIT' categories and notifications - Factors to consider to achieve database search success with unsubmitted kit projects. Case scenarios were also included to practice the understanding of NDIS eligibility requirements. This webinar was developed to address common questions submitted to the SAKI TTA team regarding CODIS use.
