How do you anticipate that the requested assistance will address the problems?
Currently the IPPFA trains the police and fire pension trustees in the state of Illinois. Participants relay on the local police officer pension trustee for information on benefits and programs relating to disability, retirement and death. Offering classes on the federal benefits program would cover an area we currently haven't offered and would increase the knowledge of our Police and Fire pension trustees.

The IPPFA is the training organization for police and fire pension trustees. We offer the required classes that police and fire pension trustees must attend to serve on the local police and fire pension board. There are currently about 3800 polce and fire pension trustees in Illinois covering the 642 police and fire pension funds.

By submitting this application to BJA NTTAC, I understand that upon approval of this application for TTA, the requestor agrees to keep BJA NTTAC informed of any circumstances that may impact the delivery of the TTA, including changes in the date of the event, event cancellation, or difficulties communicating with the assigned TTA provider.
