The Institute will kick off with registration, a welcome reception and introductions on Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. From there, the Institute will run each day from Monday - Friday, beginning at 7:45 a.m. with a networking breakfast. Most days, the Institute will get out each day between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., depending on the activities of the day. Friday, however, the Institute will finish by 1:00 p.m. In addition, there is a Thursday evening plated panel dinner with guest panel members, which will take place from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Local commuters may wish to consider staying at the hotel Sunday and Thursday evenings for ease of attendance at these evening sessions in combination with early mornings the next day.
Fees:
The total tuition for this class is $1,200. This fee includes $975 for the basic course cost and $225 for select meals and snacks that are provided throughout the week (daily networking breakfast, Thursday evening dinner, Sunday welcome reception, coffee and tea, and break snacks). Participation in these outlined meals is mandatory. Participants will be responsible for all other meals.

The contracted block of rooms for our group is at the Hilton Garden Inn Raleigh-Cary.
The contracted rate for this venue is $129 per night plus tax.
Group member reservations may be made by calling hotel directly at 919-377-0440. Individuals must identify themselves as part of the “International Association of Chiefs of Police” group in order to receive the group rate. Individuals must provide a credit card to guarantee their reservation.

Transportation:
If you are flying into the area, you will want to fly into the Raleigh International Airport. There is no shuttle service available from this hotel, however, the distance is 13 miles and taxi cost will be approximately $30 (tip not included).
We do not recommend the need for a rental car for this location as there are amenities and dining within walking distance in additional to a complimentary Hilton Garden Inn shuttle which will transport you within 5 miles of the property from 7:00am-9:00pm.
