How do you anticipate that the requested assistance will address the problems?
. Human trafficking is a topic that has not been presented at past MASCA training events and would be beneficial to our members. MASCA members are correctional officers and correctional case managers, parole and probation officers, juvenile justice caseworkers, victims’ advocates, some treatment providers, and all levels of supervisors, managers, and administrators in these fields. Our members interact with offenders and their families, friends, employers, landlords, and others in their communities. Providing our members with information about human trafficking, especially information about how to spot victims or potential victims and those who engage in human trafficking would be valuable to them professionally and would assist MASCA members and their agencies in improving and maintaining safe communities.
