Kimberly Cobb continued to work with UMU and the US Attorney’s Office in Colorado regarding their reentry initiative. Calls were held on 10/6/16, 12/2/15, and 12/6/15 related to progress updates and specifically the position of reentry and community resource coordinator. A job description was drafted and sent around for review and comment for the tribe to finalize and present to the tribal council for approval to move forward with recruiting and hiring of the position. Kimberly continues to reach out to UMU and participate on quarterly calls with the reentry team, inclusive of the US Attorney's Office in CO.

A request for technical assistance was received by the Ute Mountain Ute tribe on November 25, 2014 (provided in Attachment B). Kimberly followed up with an email to Peter Ortego, General Counsel, to schedule a call to discuss specific technical assistance needs. A call was held on December 3, 2014 to discuss the needs of the UMU tribe and map out a detailed plan to meet the identified needs. Onsite technical assistance was delivered on March 25-26, 2015. This onsite technical assistance serves as the basis for this follow up. APPA continues to work with Ute Mountain Ute and the US Attorneys Office in CO to keep the initiative moving forward.

A job description was drafted and sent around for review and comment for the tribe to finalize and present to the tribal council for approval to move forward with recruiting and hiring of the position.
Kimberly Cobb continued to work with UMU and the US Attorney’s Office in Colorado regarding their reentry initiative. After the 12/2/15 call, the job description was circulated to the group for review/comment. A third call was scheduled for 12/11/15 to discuss recommendations. The job description was agreed upon by the group and Peter Ortega indicated it would be submitted to Tribal Council. An update was also provided on the timeline for getting someone hired and in place. The US Attorneys Office and APPA asked if the tribe needed any assistance at this time. The tribe indicated that perhaps following hiring of someone in this position assistance would be required.
Kimberly participated in a quarterly call with the UMU and US Attorney's office to discuss the reentry initiative.
