The Federal Law Enforcement Center (FLETC) Advanced Interviewing for Law Enforcement Investigators Training Program - Modified (AILEITP_M) is designed to provide students with a variety of methods and skills to use during various interview and interrogation situations they will face on a daily basis. This training program will teach students how to obtain information effectively through various interview and interrogation methods, techniques, and theory. The student will learn the advantages of effective verbal and non-verbal communication as well as ways to detect deception through verbal and non-verbal observations of others. Interview and interrogation theories will be presented along with various techniques of approaching different types of interview situations. These skills will help the students prepare for their real-world cases.
This training will give RVCRI grantees the opportunity to participate in an interview training that they would not otherwise have access to (interview training is usually one of the first training courses to sell out). Thanks to the FLETC-RVCRI partnership this will be a fully RVCRI-dedicated training course for up to 20 students.
Please check the box next to the following questions if the answer is 'yes'.
The RVCRI team is only supporting grantee travel and onsite support for this training. The Bellevue, NE Police Department is the host and FLETC is coordinating all training logistics.
