The Mentor Court Program remained highly active this reporting period.
Document sharing: All 3 Mentor Courts (Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa, New Mexico Urban Native American Healing to Wellness Court, Tulalip Wellness Court) shared Operational Manuals with Sister Courts and other courts as requested (Sitka, Trinidad, Walker River, Keweenaw Bay, Rosebud Sioux, Yavapai Apache, and Chippewa Cree). Treatment Court Presentations: LTBB Waabshki Miigwan Healing to Wellness Court presented at Michigan Association of Treatment Court Professionals Conference, Arizona Association of Drug Court Professionals Conference, and RISE24, which included promotion of TLPI's Mentor Court Program. NM Urban HTW Mentor Court Program was selected as a plenary at the 2024 American Indian Justice Conference highlighting their program and discussing the promising practice of peer-to-peer learning.
Virtual visits: Rosebud Sioux observed LTBB and Tulalip and in-progress virtual visits include Keweenaw Bay visiting LTBB, Trinidad observing NM Urban. In-progress onsite visits: LTBB is hosting 2 Sister Courts and 1Mentor Court in August 2024.
