Walker River Paiute Tribe is a FY22 CTAS Purpose Area 3 - Tribal Healing to Wellness Court Grantee and has agreed to participate as a Sister Court with TLPI, paired with LTBB and Tulalip. This reporting period included a technical assistance request for: extensive planning and training needs; community needs assessment; setting tribal staff roles and expectations; policy development; and advising on award modification possibilities to meet tribal needs. Wellness Court Judge Stevenson expressed that the THWC is still in a planning period and not yet organized to have a training with stakeholders. Planning meetings and engagement with Mentor Courts is expected to begin next reporting period.

By submitting this application to BJA NTTAC, I understand that upon approval of this application for TTA, the requestor agrees to keep BJA NTTAC informed of any circumstances that may impact the delivery of the TTA, including changes in the date of the event, event cancellation, or difficulties communicating with the assigned TTA provider.
