3.1 Host Webinars, podcasts and subject specific conference calls. TLPI has a long history of well received and content rich webinar delivery. TLPI and project partners will deliver three webinars per quarter on topics chosen in collaboration with BJA and project partners. Additionally, podcasts will be developed on emerging issues, such as the response to recent supreme court cases Oklahoma v. Castro-Huerta and/or Brackeen v. Haaland. Deliverable: list of topics and webinar and podcast recordings.
3.2 Provide conference presentations, including on publications. A calendar of Indian country events and other relevant conferences will be utilized to determine relevant conferences for TLPI presentations. (This calendar can also be shared with PA3 grantees.) TLPI staff and consultants have a long history or providing presentations at relevant conferences and will present on tribal justice related topics, including tribal-state collaboration, VAWA 2022 and TLOA, as well as presentations on TLPI publications. Deliverable: PPT presentations.
3.3 Support Statewide meetings. Many statewide meetings, specifically meetings around tribal-state collaboration, are under resourced and meeting organizers have a difficult time with funding subject matter experts and/or tribal community/leadership to attend. TLPI will provide support for presenters and/or tribal participants in two statewide meetings, such as tribal-state court forum meetings, statewide wellness court events, Oklahoma sovereignty symposium, etc. Deliverable:Participants, presenters at two Statewide meetings
3.4 Attend and present CTAS orientation . TLPI will work with BJA as requested on the development and planning of the CTAS orientation. TLPI will provide requested presentations, including PA 3 tribal justice related presentations at the CTAS orientation. Deliverable: CTAS PPT for Yr 1 and 2.
