Provide individual coaching on data entry, data tracking, and outcomes reporting utilizing a community-oriented database, CaseMGR, to track the interventions of community-based organizations, the accomplishments of the participants they serve, and the impact they are having in their communities. In particular, this work supports direct service by considering what the data tells us about participant needs and achievements, utilizing that information to design effective program models, and communicating those outcomes to funders and other stakeholders.

Because this activity is ongoing throughout the grant project, the LCCL wanted to provide an update for the impact this quarter. During Q6, through diligent data tracking and analysis, LCCL has assisted our community partners in documenting the engagement levels of beneficiaries in primary and secondary prevention activities, enabling us to showcase the efficacy of these programs and make improvements where necessary.

One of the vital measures of success for our grant-funded programs lies in the results of surveys conducted to evaluate our participants’ experience in the program. The CVIPI Community Partners conduct a participant survey at regular intervals during the program to gauge success and inform ongoing services.
The CVIPI project goal was to have 70% of participants report a decrease in experiencing or witnessing violence. These responses from the survey indicate results that surpass the goal by 28%

Since I started attending this program, I’ve experienced a reduction in directly experiencing or witnessing violence. 91% (goal 70%)
Since I started attending this program, I experienced a reduction in participating in behaviors/actions that lead to violence. 86% (goal 70%)
Since I started attending this program, I experienced an increase in my personal healing that improved my quality of life. 98% (goal 70%)

Together the program enrolled 239 people to date with a goal of 195 representing an enrollment rate of 123%.

LCCL surveyed the community partners that received this support. Two organizations reported being "satisfied" and one organization was "extremely satisfied" with LCCL's data tracking and analysis technical assistance. When asked about the timelienss of this technical assistance, one was "satisfied", one was "very satisfied" and one was "extremely satisfied" (rankings of 3, 4 and 5 on a scale of 5 respectively). Two reported "very much" increasing their knowledge and one reported "extremely" increasing their knowledge of data tracking, measuring outcomes and sharing their impact.

In Q7, high demand for program services continued leading to strong enrollment above our goal. The CVIPI enrollment goal total is 225 participants by 6/30/2024. The actual participant enrollment is 262 as of 6/30/2024, representing an enrollment rate of 116% with a goal of 100%. Participant survey responses remained largely the same as the community partners gear up for the summer season when school is out of session and the community typically experiences an uptick in violence.

In Q8 and Q9, LCCL provided extensive technical assistance and capacity building to help community partners meticulously record participant activities and services and maintain communication notes to ensure clarity and consistency in documenting program participant contact referrals and outreach activities. To elevate data integrity, the program incorporates "Data Days" every Friday; this consistent practice ensures all data is clean by the end of the month. The program continues to demonstrate a high return on investment as reported by participants through regular surveys. The CVIPI enrollment goal total was 80 participants by 12/31/24. The actual participant enrollment was 131 as of 12/31/24, representing an enrollment rate of 163.75% with a goal of 100%.The CVIPI project goal was to have 70% of participants report a decrease in experiencing or witnessing violence. These responses from the survey indicate results that surpass the goal by 21-30 percent.
Since I started attending this program, I’ve experienced a reduction in directly experiencing or witnessing violence. 91% (goal 70%)
Since I started attending this program, I experienced a reduction in participating in behaviors/actions that lead to violence. 97% (goal 70%)
