The SMIP is a program that provides senior police executives with intensive training in the latest management concepts and practices in government today. Communities expect more from their police departments in terms of trust and legitimacy, de-escalation strategies, critical thinking, and community engagement. This course addresses those needs through subject matter experts and faculty from top universities including Harvard and MIT.
