1.) Have a secured centralized information system that allows our office to pull up information (after scanning & labeling documents) quickly without having to pull out piles of papers. This system will also ideally be able to generate lists, reports (data & financial) and charts from information keyed in. Said system will also allow for users to pull up and display specific grants by year, source and subgrantee/subrecipient.
2.) Have a "sandbox" of justgrants. This will allow grant program handlers to practice on submitting submissions in justgrants or drawing down funds without impacting their grants at all since it's just a practice site.
Our office currently does not have a centralized information system where information (of grant awards, subgrantees/subrecipients, justifications, GAMs, etc.) can be shared among our office without pulling out boxes of files. Majority of our information is stored on paper only. We would like to increase efficiency with having a centralized information system to go along with our traditional paper-trail system.

There is a system used by the local Judicial Branch called JustWare Documentation. It is an excellent tool for case management that although is irrelevant to grant management, has many good features that could be used in an office setting. We are hoping the team will be able to check it out and see if there's something that we could use.
