Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) is interested in setting up a CompStat360 model within their Department. They're looking to establish this model to enhance division accountability. CompStat360 is a comprehensive approach using collaboration, data analysis, and intel to create more effective crime responses. IMPD is interested in developing a strategic plan to support the implementation of the CompStat360 model. This plan would support building the CompStat model to focus on areas including Reduction in Violent Crime, Building Bridges of Trust, and Divisional Excellence. BJA approved a TTA request for SME assistance for Indianapolis, which CNA has identified Ed Flynn as the SME.
Jamie Roush, Technology, Data, and Analysis Expert, has been working with the police department on technology and data structure support through a separate TTA engagement with CRI-TAC. The CRI-TAC engagement is complete, and the PSP site is requesting to have Jamie be the contact in Indianapolis helping to implement this CompStat model. She will work closely with IMPD leadership and Ed in providing technical assistance as they develop this plan and implement this model. Jamie has an existing working relationship with IMPD and is knowledgeable about their current goals, practices, capabilities. IMPD is interested and having her work closely with IMPD personnel and provide subject matter expertise as they implement this model.
