Curriculum development for the selection of qualified personnel and the creation of a training program inclusive of best practice for appropriate use of police rifles.
Since 2000 there has been a proliferation of police rifles, and the policies and training vary significantly by department. There is not a guide or best practice for the use of these military grade products. Issues such as distance for use, appropriate use, officer selection and training appear to be areas that the entire nation could use guidance on (which we are interested in, as related to our issues).

- The organizational and/or community needs specific to the request for TTA services.
- The benefits or anticipated outcomes from the receipt of TTA services.
By submitting this application to BJA NTTAC, I understand that upon approval of this application for TTA, the requestor agrees to keep BJA NTTAC informed of any circumstances that may impact the delivery of the TTA, including changes in the date of the event, event cancellation, or difficulties communicating with the assigned TTA provider.
