As a California non-profit organization, it is a financial hardship for us to bring in national trainers to our annual training conferences. The national trainer fees are just too steep, yet our member / attendees need the diverse training that only national trainers can provide.

CPPCA was authorized for training assistance in 2017, but since a trainer wasn't secured through BJA NTTAC - BJA NTTAC offered travel assistance to two of our authorized/secured trainers.

How do you anticipate that the requested assistance will address the problems?
Having a national trainer will give California probation and parole officers a more global perspective on the topic and give benchmarks on what other states are doing.
