Arizona State University (ASU) recently conducted a survey asking body-worn cameras (BWCs) policy and implementation program sites about their experiences policing the recent protests, value that BWCs added, challenges agencies experienced, and solutions agencies implemented to tackle these challenges.

Webinar – “COVID-19: Justice Response for Community Supervision”

Policing Body Cameras: Shaping Policies and Defending Cases in Body Camera Jurisdictions

The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) recently released its report Policing Body Cameras: Policies and Practices to Safeguard the Rights of the Accused. The report outlined NACDL's position on the introduction and use of body cameras by law enforcement. This webinar will walk through the recommendations and talk about how to negotiate stronger body camera policies in your jurisdiction, the technical aspects of body cameras, and strategies and tactics for defending clients in body camera jurisdictions.
