International Association of Chiefs of Police 2019 Annual Conference and Exposition

The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Annual Conference and Exposition is the largest and most important law enforcement event of the year — more than 16,000 public safety professionals come to learn new techniques, advance their knowledge and careers, and equip their department for ongoing success. The three tenets of the conference are training, networking, and exhibit hall education. IACP 2019 spans four days of education and networking.

To support law enforcement executives in budgeting for technology, the National Public Safety Partnership (PSP) and the CNA Corporation developed the resource “Understanding Technology Cost Considerations in Law Enforcement.” This document describes the typical costs and associated factors related to using technology for law enforcement activities.

Attend a Webinar on How to Integrate Data from New and Emerging Law Enforcement Technology

Facial recognition, optical character recognition systems, drones, and mobile devices are all making their way into law enforcement agencies at a fast pace. Each of these systems is bringing new data sources, which enhance and can be integrated with existing data systems. This webinar will highlight these new and emerging technologies, as well as other technologies such as body-worn cameras and license plate recognition systems; the data they provide; and practical examples of integrating the data for investigations and crimefighting efforts.
